Question:

Whats the difference between the Curt C15704 and the Curt C15809? They appear to be identical in specs and dimensions. Both fit a 2007 Ram 2500 without factory hitch installed. Thanks

Hello Zack,

Yes, the # C15704 and # C15809 are very similar. The difference between the 2 is going to be ground clearance. The # C15809 hangs lower and is going to give you around 3" less of ground clearance. The # C15704 sits a little higher resulting in about 3" of extra ground clearance. I have included 2 pictures, the red Ram is the # C15809 you can notice how it site further below the bumper more than the # C15704 on the white Ram.
