Hitch For 2021 Winnebago Travato on Promaster 3500 ext

Question:

Will the curt 13704 fit the promaster 3500 ext? I have a 2021 Travato built on the 2021 Promaster 3500 ext and the current hitch is a curt but only bolts under the bumper and tends to have strength issues when using cargo carriers on it. I’m looking to replace it with a frame mounted hitch.

For your 2021 RAM ProMaster 3500 EXT with the Winnebago Travato body, the Curt C13704 is not a confirmed fit for the EXT models. I recommend the Draw-Tite # 76050 Class-3 hitch which is rated for 500 pounds tongue weight and 5000 pounds towing. Features 2" receiver and strong square tube design.

If you don't already have these parts, the etrailer # 989891 trailer ball and mount kit is a good place to start.

If you will need your hitch for towing and don't already have a 4-way or 7-way electrical connector, I recommend the Tekonsha # 118618 4-way kit, or the Tekonsha # 22112 for the 7-way kit.
