My bike weighs 50 pounds. I will only be carrying this one bike on a 2021 Toyota Avalon. Will this hitch handle the weight of my bike and not damage my car?

The only hitch for your 2021 Toyota Avalon is the Curt 1-1/4" Hitch # C11576. This has a 200lb tongue weight capacity. Then, your only option for a bike rack that will handle your 50 lb bike is the RockyMounts HighNoon FC Solo Bike Rack for 1 Bike - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount # RKY87RR. This has a 60 lb capacity so it's plenty strong. I've included an installation video of the hitch and also the rack so be sure to check that out!
