Question:
Can this base plate be used for emergency pullout in off road situations. Do you make rings to attach to your plates.

The Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit, # 1208-1, is designed to provide fixed attachment points for your tow bar. The tow bar is designed to pull the vehicle within a particular orientation i.e. fairly level to the tow vehicle and all tension being directly forward evenly distributed from left/right side. That being stated, if it is an emergency situation then I would do what is needed and corect any potential damage that may have occurred afterwards. I would, if possible, attempt to not have a lot of side tension applied to one point so as to minimize the possibility of twisting the base plate.
