Question:

I have a 2018 Grey wolf 29TE by Cherokee forest river that I need new leaf springs. As it sits eye to eye is about 25.25. Not sure but thinking they started out at 31.175. Its 6,034 lbs dry. Been all over USA with it and think existing springs are shot. Needing help getting correct size for replacement. Thanks

Assuming the 25-1/4" measurement you got for the leaf springs on your 2018 Forest River Cherokee Grey Wolf 29TE was with the axle off the ground and no weight on the springs then the correct replacement spring is going to be the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles - 25-1/8" Long # e54SR or the 4000lb Spring # e57SR.

To determine which option is correct you will need to find the axle rating for each of your axles. You can do this by looking for the axle tag on the center of each axle as the axle rating will be on the tag.

Now if you did not measure the spring with the axles off the ground you will need to remeasure the spring. When weight is on the spring it stretches and will give you an in accurate measurement.
