Replacement Motor Assembly for Lippert RV Slide-Outs - Klauber A-300 Model Wiring Instructions

Question:
This motor comes with two tiny black wires extending from the end. I wired up the motor but left these hanging, and nothing happens. What are these wires for? They are both black, so I have no idea if they are both hot or both ground.

The smaller wires are for the brake release/engage for the motor so that's why nothing is happening for you. If you look at the diagram I've attached one of the black wires will be tied in with your red wire and the other will tie in with your black wire.
