Wiring the Replacement Motor Klauber A-300 Model

Question:
My Slide motor quit working, gears are grinding, I need a replacement motor. I was sent one with 4 wires, one 14 ga elk and red wire and two small black wires. My original motor only has 2 wires. Not sure what to do!

I called Lippert about your question on the Replacement Motor Assembly for Lippert RV Slide-Outs - Klauber A-300 Model, # LC157511. Their Tech Rep stated that the two smaller wires are to power the brake release/engage on the slide and should be connected to the red wire, then remove and replace the motor and wiring with current.

So what your saying is both black wires from the brake are connected to the red wire ???
