Troubleshooting Front Equalizer On Triple Axle Trailer Hitting Trailer Frame
Question:
So I purchased this kit a couple years ago to add a 3rd axle to my trailer. I have 6000lb axles. And I have the 24 7/8inch inch springs. I am spaced at 29 3/4, 34, 29 3/4 for hanger spacing and have the 3 1/4inch tall hanger brackets and they are all the same height. My front axle has the spring bottoming out on the bottom of the trailer frame when there is no load on the trailer with the equalizer being tipped forward. What am I missing? Everything moves nice and free with the suspension. Kind of confused what the problem might be. Any ideas?

Based on the picture you provided you will need to replace the center hangers on your triple axle trailer with the Center Hanger for Double-Eye Springs - 5-7/16" Tall - 3/4" Bolt Hole # 115919 which is just under 2-1/4" taller than the center hangers included in the # APTT5 you purchased and will give you the additional clearance you need.
I included a video of the # 115919 for you to take a look at.
