I need a trailer hitch for my 1996 gmc g3500 cutaway van with a blue bird bus box on it looking for the highest weight rateing i can get for it

For a cutaway chassis vehicle you could use a service body hitch like the Buyers Products Class V part # 3371801052 which has a 16,000 lb towing capacity and a 2-1/2 inch opening. This comes with 9 inch drop brackets that are adjustable in width to match the frame width of your vehicle.
