Question:
Hi there, I have a 2015 Honda CRV and based on your websites recommendations, I acquired a Saris Bones 3. I cant seem to fit the metal side hooks into the trunk door gap. I understand that Hatch Huggers are necessary for the lower straps, but I dont believe they would work for the side straps. Do you have any solution or products I could purchase to remedy my issue?

Expert Reply:
The Hatch Huggers for Saris Trunk Mount Bike Racks # SA3035 will work with the rack's side strap carrier buckle of the Saris Bones EX 3 # SA803. Since the Hatch Huggers have a length of a little over 6 feet, it will give you plenty of length to get that secure, tight fit. I went ahead and attached the picture to show you that the Hatch Huggers can attach to the side strap buckles.
