How to Determine Fit of 4-Step GlowStep Stow N Go Camper Steps on Fox Landing Steps

I have an Arctic Fox camper with the Fox Landing step. I like them, but they are very narrow and my wife fell this past trip. Can the Stow and Glow steps replace the Fox Landing steps on the side? They seem to be too wide.

Expert Reply:
You may be able to use the TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go steps, though it is going to depend on the width of the area you are looking to mount them. You'll want to take a measurement of the mounting area width to determine if the mounting bracket will fit.
According to TorkLift, the GlowStep Stow N' Go does require a 23" wide and 3-1/2" tall area for the mounting bracket, with the bracket itself measuring 21-1/2" wide. If you do have that space you can use the 4-Step GlowSteps:
- Black Bracket: TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps w/ Landing Gear - 4 Steps # TLA7834
- White Bracket: TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps w/ Landing Gear - 4 Steps # TLA7844
If you don't have that space, another 4-step option is the Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # AS04.
This would be the next step down from the GlowStep in terms of width, requiring a space for the mounting bracket of 18-1/4" wide and 1" tall. I have added some links below to video reviews to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
