Hitch Pin Hole Center to End of Shank Distance of Hollywood Racks HR4000 Destination 4-Bike Rack

Question:

We have a volvo xc90 with a volvo accessory retractable hitch 2 in class #. However the depth of the square profile is limited to 2.6 inches, measured from the center of the hole for the locking pin to the bottom of the receiver. I wanted to make sure that this bike trailers connection wouldnt be too long to use on this? We currently have a holleywood rack SE-2 HR-1450 that fits our hitch depth fine as the depth is adjustable with the no wobbleinch tightening system. We are needing to haul 4 bikes now and would consider the add on to this Sportrider Se 2 Bike Add-On Kit model # HR1475Z, however our SE-2 #HR1450 is from about 2014 and it appears from the qanda on the #HR1475Z that this will not fit the older SE-2 model. If this is true then we would need a new 4 bike platform system. thanks zach

On the Hollywood Racks Destination 4-Bike Rack, part # HR4000 the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the end of the shank is 2-1/8 inches, as shown in the provided photo. Since the depth of your receiver tube is 2.6 inches, measured from the center of the hitch pin hole to the rear of the receiver, the Destination will fit in your hitch receiver with a little bit of room to spare.
