Question:
I’m looking at the Saris Freedom 4 and the Hollywood Destination bike platforms. Will ultimately want to carry 4 bikes, including 2 adult bikes with fenders and 2 20” children’s bikes. Is one or the other of these a better option for my bikes?

Hi Andy!
While either the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting # SA4414B or the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HR4000 would be great racks, there is a clear winner in my book. That being the Saris.
Yes, both of these racks will work with bikes that have fenders as well as kids/children bikes, can handle tires up to 3" wide, and can hold bikes with up to a 48" wheel base. That said, I prefer the Saris as the two inner bikes can weigh up to 60 pounds, whereas the Hollywood can only carry 35 pound bikes. The Saris also has adjustable cradles for the tires and the Hollywood does not. So even though it is more expensive, the Saris is the better option between the two. It's beefier and has more adjustability.
What kind of bikes are you wanting to carry? And are you gearing up for a trip?

Thank you! I’ve got a hybrid men’s bike, a women’s hybrid step through, and a kids 20” and 14” bike to transport. Planning a trip this summer where we’ll take them, but also want a rack for occasional days out to a park or area to ride with the family. I’ve also considered the Thule Apex to save some money as this won’t be a frequent thing for us, but seems the Saris Freedom is likely to give me more long term flexibility and not cost that much more after I have to buy top tubes for 3 bikes, no?
