Have a 2014 Keystone Cougar 277 RLS 1/2 ton series 5th wheel. Last 8 numbers of VIN EC500857. Looking for new steps to replace. Can you suggest part number?

We have a wide selection of steps available so I am certain that we can locate a suitable replacement step for you. While I can not provide you with an exact part number for your current steps installed by the builder of your 2014 Keystone Cougar Half-Ton Fifth Wheel, I can locate options. From what is available to me online I suggest the Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Step with 9" Drop/Rise at 24" width, # LC432696. They measure 24" wide for the step but the overall width is 27-1/2" please see the attached images with dimensions. I suggest new mounting hardware rather than reusing the old, # LC118155-72. You will need to measure currently installed steps to ensure these will fit your camper. Measure the width and depth, the space required is at least 27-1/2" wide and 12-3/16" deep.
For mounting the stairs there are times when outriggers like part # LC301704 need to be used. These mount on the steps using part # LC118155-72 and then can be installed to the underside of the trailer instead of the sides of the stair opening. Hardware is not included with the outriggers.
There is also a four step model available in the Alumi-Tread # LC432698. This mounts the same way as above but has a fourth steps and constructed with a drop/rise of 8" rather than 9". See attached images for dimensions.
