The MORryde StepAbove RV Steps lock firmly to the ground so you don’t feel that shaky bounce common with hanging metal steps. Adjustable legs extend in 1" increments for full ground contact, even if you’re parked on uneven terrain. Each step is 17-1/2" wide with a 9" rise, and the sturdy 500 lb weight capacity means they stay rock solid under load.
Getting in and out feels natural with a balanced rise and run across the three steps. The top step gives you extra room at 10-5/8" deep, so you can step out confidently without feeling cramped. A textured tread surface and non-slip tape help keep your footing secure in wet or dusty conditions.
Built from rustproof aluminum and a powder coated steel frame, these steps are strong but easy to lift. When you need to park close or store your trailer, the steps disconnect in seconds by pulling the hinge pins—no tools needed. Once folded, they lock inside the doorway for travel and stay protected from weather and road grime.
Whether you’re parked on a sloped pad or uneven lot, the StepAbove system levels out for a steady feel. It fits doorway widths between 21-3/4" and 22-1/4", with a mounting bracket that measures 20-1/4" wide x 3-3/4" tall x 10" deep. The 40" travel height keeps it compact when stowed, and installation is straightforward with pre-assembled steps and included hardware.
A powder coated steel frame resists rust, and aluminum step platforms stay scratch-free through years of use. The design keeps dirt and debris from collecting between steps, so you can sweep them clean before folding up. It’s a solid upgrade for anyone tired of wobbly, weather-worn factory steps.

Customer service was fantastic with helping me confirm which steps I needed for our Rv. Communication and shipping was great and fast too. Very happy with this company and my new steps. They feel very solid and safe to me. Can’t wait for my next trip. Thank you so much!!!
The steps are great! The installation instructions not so much. Thank goodness there were customer photos on the website that showed a customer installation having to cut a portion of the aluminum foundation away, which is what I had to do to make the screen door have enough clearance to close. I was able to talk with a etrailer rep who wouldn't tell me that was my solution for fear of liability issues, but hinted I may need to do it for door clearance. Too bad the installation instructions do not clearly offer this information if this situation occurs, and I'm sure it occurs with plenty of these older trailers that use the narrow folding steps. The steps are great, but etrailer help desk needs to understand the problem if they are going to help with the solution.
In the beginning I order the wrong size steps. My door opening is 27 3/4. I figured the 26 inch steps would work but they was too small to catch the lip on the door frame. Even tried to adjust the steps but they were still to small. I called and spoke with the team at etrailer and they was fantastic on helping me with my problem. They helped me pick the new set of steps and set up the return for the first set that I ordered wrong.
The new steps came in within 3 days. They are very sturdy and looks to be well built. The install was pretty simple. But I did have to cut part of the lip off of the door frame at the bottom 8 inches of the door on both sides. It was very tight and the steps would not fold down all the way. The instructions didn’t say anything about cutting the door jam. Once I had everything installed and folded out, I could walk up and down the steps very easily. I am a big guy 6’3 340 pounds. Not only did the steps support me, but it stabilized the camper from rocking when I stepped up in there. All, except cutting my door frame that I chose to do, went very good and feels like I will be happy with the purchase.
Good quality and excellent service.
Perfect
Perfect fit for my 1960 Cadillac camper
I live in high country Colorado and my camper is under several feet of snow so I have not been able to check ladder out, but it seems like it weighs a lot in the box that is unopened-probably a good thing.
Installed easily, work great!
The steps worked as designed. The only issue was the shipping package did not prevent damage. I had to reform the catches used to grab the door jams for them to work properly. Other than that, the shipping was on time and I was able to quickly install them with some door modifications (which I knew was needed) before going on a 4 day camping trip.
This is the second one that I had to order. The first one came damaged. I got it through Amazon, so I went a different route route with getting this one and it came damaged as well. One of the brackets on the side for holding it up is bent to crap due to poor packaging. It was bouncing around in the book when we got it. I would like to have a new bracket sent to me, I do not want to wait for another set of stairs if possible.
It does make it easier to get up and down the stairs then the floating ones that come with the RV. We did receive it bent in the latch so we had to pound that out.
Easy to install and took the bounce out of entering and exiting the travel trailer!
Installation was a snap and the steps work great.
Very pleased with the installation, fit and finish
My steps arrive exactly when I was told. They fit perfectly in my truck camper. Ashley is very knowledgeable in her job and I will ask for on my next project.
I had to cut away about 10" of the lower doorframe to accommodate the width of the steps. I also used heavier lag screws instead of those provided to attach it to the floor.
My honest review is they are great steps but your feet come out from under you and your busting your but before you know it but not a big deal just put grip tape on them problem solved other then falling i like them

That sounds so painful, Sandra! I hope that never happens again to you. It also looks like you have a cute little camping friend too :)
