Question:

I assume these would still work with a pontoon trailer instead of a boat trailer? We may be loading in a river more often than not, so with some sort of current along with wind, Id almost like to have something on the outside that sticks up more than the interior load guides which will go between the pontoons on the inside. Thanks!

Yes, the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers # CE27626 will help guide you onto your bunks of the boat trailer. These will adjust out 13" from your trailer frame and fit frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall. For frames up to 5-1/4" tall you can purchase Extra-Long U-Bolt Kit # CE11416. These guides are 40" tall.

You may want taller Guide-Ons # CE27646 are 60" tall if you have taller railing and are worried about seeing them when loading.

I would also recommend with either kit adding LED Light Kit # CE27656A. Because who hasn't tried to load a boat after dark and wish the had something like this.
