Question:

I have an airlift system on my truck and the suspension is the same for 2000 through 2011 according to gm, so why would you say that airbags wont work on 2006 2500HD?

According to our fitguide and Air Lift, their # AL57575 Load Lifter 5000 air helper springs are indeed a fit for a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD, whether it be a RWD or a 4WD model.

You might also be interested in an on-board compressor kit like part # AL25854 which would allow you to add or remove pressure from the system with the push of a button.
