Question:
We have a THULE Motion XL XXL. The back side hinge broke where is connects to the bottom ball joint. Is this the correct part? 1401495200 Thank you

I confirmed with Thule that the correct replacement lid lifter hinge for your Thule Motion XT XXL Rooftop Cargo Box # TH629906 is # 1401495600. I went ahead and attached a photo to show where this hinge is located on the cargo box so you can verify that this is the hinge you are needing replaced. There are not any replacement hinges for the rear-most hinges as those are connected to the cargo box and you would need to replace the whole carrier if those are broken.
