Replacement 3/4 Inch Bolts for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System

Guy that installed my 10000# e2 hitch galled up the ¾ bolt/nut. He replaced both with grade 8 bolt, nut, and lock washer. Is this acceptable?

According to Fastway, the 3/4 inch plated bolts they use are grade 5, but you'll want to use 3/4 inch conical toothed washers and lock nuts. The lock nuts can be found locally, but not the washers and Fastway won't honor the warranty if hardware other than what they recommend is used. If the guy buggered up the nut and bolt, I'd make him replace them using hardware from their # FA92-02-9600 hardware kit since he and not you damaged it.
