Question:

Looking to buy TK90160 Tekonsha brake controller for 2021 GMC Acadia with factory towing package. Is the Acadia prewired for a brake controller? If so, where is it and does it terminate in bare wires or a connector? If connector, do you have a custom connector cable to connect TK90160 to factory harness connector?

Your 2021 GMC Acadia with the factory tow package does have the needed wiring so you can install the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160.

It isn't a plug-and-play option so you'll just need to connect the wires that are coming from the Primus IQ, so no additional wiring connector is necessary for purchase. The blunt-cut wires for your Acadia should be under the dash, behind the panel, taped up in the area around the gas pedal. You can connect those wires with the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connectors - 12-10 Gauge # DW05745-5.
