Its a great option as well as it includes the wiring and provisions for towing a small trailer. The wiring included is for your BMW and gives you a 7-way connection that is affixed to the hitch so its hidden. Also included are 2 different ends, the first is the 2" receiver that can be used with many different bike racks or cargo carriers. The second is a bar with a 2" ball for trailer towing. This gives you options and ease of use with those different options.
