Question:

hello, i have a 2024 bmw x3 that i want to put a hitch on 2inch class 111 and i was looking at the curtc13387,and the c99rv and the drawtite 76226,the vehicle has the hands free lift gate function and also what wiring harness would i need.i need to get the right parts for the installer. thank you

Hey Dennis, I would be glad to help pick out a hitch for your 2024 BMX X3! All three of those hitches are pretty similar but I like the consistent higher quality of the Curt hitches so I would go with the part # C13387 from them which also happens to have the best price. The handsfree liftgate will still function but you may have to kick to either side of the hitch opening.

Then for trailer wiring you'd want the Tekonsha part # TK54ZR which is the easiest to install and has most reliable converter box.

@JamesonC YES EVERYTHING WENT WELL AS IT WAS INSTALLED BY A BMW TECH ON OUR NEW X3 AND WE HAVE USED IT SEVERAL TIMES SINCE THEN AND EVERYTHING INCLUDING THE WIRING WENT WELL,GOOD PRODUCT,THANK YOU DENNIS
