Question:
Can you please supply me with the correct part numbers for a suspension upgrade for my 2009 keystone cougar SAB. I’m looking for dexter ez flex equalizer, and leaf springs. The axles are AL-KO T52 3 rated at 5200 lbs The stock equalizer has EQ 356 stamped on it Thanks

The equalizer you have on your 2009 Keystone Cougar SAB is the Curved Equalizer for 1-3/4" Wide Double-Eye Springs - 6-1/8" Long - 9/16" Center Hole # TREQ356 which measures 6-1/8" center to center of the horizontal mounting holes and is 2-1/2" from the tall from the top mounting hole to the center of the bottom two holes as shown in the included diagram.
The closest Dexter EZ-Flex equalizer to those measurements is the # K71-652-00 which is 2" tall and 5-1/4" - 6-1/4" long depending on how much the equalizer is compressed which will work for your application. The # K71-652-00 includes shackle straps that measure 2-1/4" center to center so as long as that matches your current shackle straps you will have no issues. If your shackle straps are a different length you can reuse your current ones, or if you can tell me how long they are I would be happy to recommend replacements for you.
For leaf springs you will need to know the length of your current leaf springs measured from center of the spring eye to center of the spring eye as shown in the included diagram. You will want to do this measurement with the wheels off the ground. If weight is on the suspension the springs will stretch and give you an inaccurate measurement.
For example the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 5,300-lb Trailer Axles # SP-222275 measures 24-7/8" from center of the spring eye to center of the spring eye so if this matches your current leaf springs this would be a great option. If you find your leaf springs are not 24-7/8" just let me know and I would be happy to make a recommendation for you.
I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
