It connects 1-3/4" wide double-eye springs on tandem- or triple-axle setups and lets the suspension move just enough between axles to absorb bumps. That means the load stays balanced and the ride stays smooth instead of jarring.
Durability matters when the miles add up. This equalizer is rated for use on 2,000 to 7,000 lb axles, giving each one a maximum capacity of 7,000 lbs. Getting the dimensions right makes installation straightforward. This equalizer has 6-1/4" spacing between outer bolt holes (center to center), a 3/4" center hanger hole, and 9/16" side bolt holes. With a height of 2" from shackle to hanger hole, it lines up cleanly with standard suspension hardware for a direct, accurate fit.
When it’s time to freshen up worn parts, this equalizer drops right in with standard shackle straps and hangers (sold separately). It’s compatible with 9/16" spring eyes and can take replacement bushings like part # TRBU11566. Whether you’re rebuilding a tired suspension or just swapping out a single piece, it’s an easy fix that brings back smooth performance.

Replacement parts were easy to find. They seemed to be better than factory parts, and were easy to install. They fixed an old horse trailer up that I thought would be hard to find parts for.
I recently purchased trailer spring parts to replace some well-worn pins, bushings, and equalizers on a used livestock trailer. I was completely satisfied with every new part in the shipment. While I was trying to figure out all the parts I needed on-line, I made a couple calls to etrailer's customer service and they were awesome! Parts arrived quickly and are exactly what I needed. I put together one of the spring / equalizer / spring set-ups and placed it on the trailer frame to confirm fit. Perfect! Looking forward to swapping all the parts out this weekend. And I'll be shopping with etrailer again soon to get a trailer hitch for my new Durango!
