Question:

I have a Yakima rack and roll trailer 78” wide. I would like to replace the round bars with a type of square bar to avoid shifting during transport. I discovered the Thule square bars were not available anymore. Are there other brands that would work?

I do have an option for you which is to install load stops onto the crossbars to stop loads from shifting, the LoadStop Brackets for Yakima Round Crossbars part # Y05000. That said, there isn't an option to replace round crossbars with square crossbars on the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer part # Y08107.
