Will this hitch fit a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 truck with Service body?

I reached out to my contact at Curt and it is possible that the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V Commercial Duty - 2-1/2" # C15860 will fit your 2016 GM Sierra 2500 with a Service Body as long as it did not start life as a cab and chassis truck.
The main thing to look for is that when the service body was installed that they did not modify the frame of the truck as the # C15860 uses factory mounting points.
If your truck is a cab and chassis model, or if the frame was modified then the best option would be to have the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets - 2-1/2" Receiver - 44" Wide # C87CR welded to your truck. This hitch is designed for frames that are 18" - 44" wide.
