Question:
Looking for a weight distribution hitch recommendation. I am getting an GD Imagine 2670mk and Ill be towing it with a 2020 Ram 1500 with air suspension. Trailer max might be 9000lbs with 1000tw. Both may be lower down to 8000 and 800tw.

I recommend going with the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - Clamp On - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # BLU66FR to pull your Grand Design Imagine 2670MK RV. This is a very impressive weight distribution system that is much quieter than other systems due to the fact that it uses trunnion spring bars that flex for a controlled, even ride. Other systems use friction pads (similar to brake pads) that create some unwanted noises; but you will not have to worry about that. This also has built-in sway control which will force the trailer to remain in a straight path. This will fit a 2" receiver.
The Blue Ox # BLU66FR has a gross towing weight of 10,000lbs and a tongue weight range of 750 lbs - 1000 lbs, so this will be an excellent setup for your estimated tongue weight of 800 lbs - 900 lbs. This system includes the necessary shank, pin and clip, and everything else required for use except for the hitch ball. You most likely need a 2-5/16" ball which would be # C40030. If you need a 2" ball, use # 40038.
