Thule Xadapt7 Xsporter Load Bar Adapter for Ski Rack Bolt Length

Question:
Hello! I was hoping one of your Thule roof rack experts can help me. I have a pair of Thule Universal Pull Top Ski Rack 91726 that needs to fit on a Thule AeroBlade Edge 7602. I didnt realize the bars where going to be too thick for the mounting brackets on the ski rack. The screws are too short in length to accommodate. Looking through the website it might be that I need to get the Xadapter7, but would like to confirm. If not those, if there are any other suggestions, it would be much appreciated. Thank you!

The overall length of the Thule Xadapt7 Adapter # THXADAPT7 is 2-1/16 inches and without the head is 1-15/16 inches.
