Width of Lippert LC733932 Solid Step RV Steps

Question:

Hi, I was looking at item: LC733932 and was wondering what the overall width of the stair assembly is? The door opening is 29 3/4 IN, and I am concerned with how much clearance the 29-36 IN stairs will have compared to the door opening. Thank you

The widest point of the Lippert # LC733932 Solid Step is 24 inches, which is the dimension from the outside of one stringer to the outside of the other. The latching mechanism that holds the steps folded upright into their storage position is width adjustable for doorways from 29-36 inches in width. The photo I provided shows a good view of the adjustable latching mechanism.
