What Diameter Hitch Pin Lock Does Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack

Question:

Will the etrailer locking hitch pin e98882 work with the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 2” and a Draw Tite 75784 2in hitch? I think the locking hitch pin that comes with the Sherpa could easily be broken with bolt cutter.

The Kuat Sherpa Bike Rack # SH22G was designed to be used with the 1/2 inch hitch pin that comes with it. But we have found that the etrailer Locking Hitch Pin part # e98882 that has a 5/8 inch diameter does work.
