Question:

I would like to put a front hitch on a car that is not covered. Instead of fabricating this from scratch I would prefer to start with one of your hitches and modify it, but picking one is hard without dimensions. Can I get dimensions on 31408, 65080,and 65079? Thank you. BTW the car is a 02 kia sportage 4x4 and I just want to move small boats and put a home snow plow on it.

I had our warehouse measure each of the front mount trailer hitch receivers you mentioned, and the dimensions are as follows.

The Curt # 31408 measures 32-3/4" long x 8-3/4" wide, the Draw-Tite # 65080 measures 36-3/4" long x 10-3/4" wide, and the Draw-Tite # 65079 measures 31-3/4" long x 9-1/2" wide, which you can see in the included diagrams.

Each of these options will require fabrication as you know, since none of them are confirmed to fit your 2002 Kia Sportage 4x4. I recommend checking with the owner's manual of your vehicle to make sure the front end of your Sportage can support the weight you of the snow plow or small boats you mentioned.
