Incredible site....am thinking about buying a 19 Miata....would purchase the # C11435 from you guys. Do you have any data on clearance? Looks like it sites high...but I have a 16 Mustang and my hitch scrapes on many bumps and dips....concerned Miata will be worse

I don't have a precise ground clearance measurement for the Curt Class I # C11435 (nor does Curt), but as you can see in the provided photo, the receiver tube will sit flush against the underside of the bumper fascia. If you measure approximately 2 inches downward from the lowest point of the bumper fascia, you'll have a pretty accurate idea of where the underside of the receiver would sit.
If you'll be using the hitch for light-duty towing, you'll need a few other items to complete your towing system. For a trailer wiring harness, use # C56300, for a ball mount, use # C45521. for a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball, use # A-80 or # A-82 for a 2 inch ball.
