Reese Under-Bed 5th Wheel Hitch Mounting Option for 2020 Ford F250

Question:
Have a 2020 Ford F-250 short bed. In need of a fifth wheel hitch. Truck does not have the puck system. Looking for recommendations on what system to get. Would like to get the Reese puck system but was wondering how hard install is. Thanks

For a 5th wheel hitch with an under-bed mounting system, the Reese system that includes the # RP30921
sliding Reese M5 5th wheel hitch and the # RP87FR under-bed rail kit would be a good choice for you. You'll want to look under the bed and check that the inner frame brackets are already in place (see provided diagram). If the inner brackets aren't present, you'll also need part # RP27FR.
If you'd like to install a 7-way trailer connector in the truck bed, you could do so using part # 50-97-410-010.
The installation isn't terribly difficult, but it is a little time consuming, and would take around 4-5 hours. I've linked the installation instructions for you.
