Question:
Hello - Im considering purchasing the Go Power 1000W 12V inverter. I need to know if the remote GP-SWR-A Remote actually cuts off power from the inverter so now Amps are consumed by the inverter...or does the remote only put the inverter in a stand-by mode where it draws minimal power/amps.

The Remote for Go Power Pure Sine Wave Inverters part # 34266886 for the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter part # 34279948 will allow you to completely shut off the inverter eliminating any power draw.
If you are using a solar controller like the Go Power MPPT Solar Charge Controller part # GP54FR or something similar which is recommended the controller will draw a very minimal amount of power to show charge levels and status of the battery or batteries.
