Question:
Hi, I have a curt spectrum brake controller that I used on a 2020 explorer. We had to get rid of that vehicle and in process of buying a 2021 grand Cherokee. Is there a harness for the spectrum controller for the grand Cherokee. I do have factory hitch on vehicle. It says that this brake controller only for grand Cherokee without factory hitch. Is this really the case? Would like to reuse if at all possible. If not is there a particular reason not compatible. Thanks

You've got nothing to worry about on this one. Brake controllers are fairly universal, so you will be able to use the Curt Spectrum # C51170 in your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Additionally, since you have the factory tow package you can use the # C51446 as the plug and play adapter to make this an easy installation. I was able to confirm this for you with my contact at Curt.
