Hello Sam, thanks for reaching out. The Air Lift # AL88288 you were looking at is a fit for the 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500. When you say 4/6 I assume you are referring to a 4" or 6" lift. The air bags can be used with a lift kit, but you will need to purchase an additional spacer to compensate for the lift. We have both 4" spacers # AL52440 and 6" spacers # AL52460. Just note that a 6" lift does not always equate to a 6" spacer. The best thing to do is install the air bag brackets, measure the distance between the brackets, then subtract the height of the air bag. The remainder will tell you what spacer you need.

To answer your question. The air bags will absolutely help to level your ride and keep things from bottoming out. A small trailer will be no problem, and you will be able to fine tune your suspension to get a perfectly level ride.

I also suggest adding an onboard compressor system like the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL25980.

Reply below and let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

@Sam Gotcha. So these LoadLifter 5000 kits do not work with lowered trucks. Generally, people are not lowering their trucks with towing as the goal. Keeping things at the stock ride height is recommended if you intend to tow.
