The brake controller we recommend using with the 2020 Mercedes Benz GLC 300 is the Curt Echo Mobile # C51180, because it does not require anything wired into the vehicle. The Echo provides proportional braking control for your trailer, meaning that the brakes are applied at the same intensity as the brakes being applied on your tow vehicle; this ultimately leads to a more responsive system and it won't wear out your brakes when towing in traffic or at low speeds. This brake controller is controlled by any smart phone running iOS 8.0 or newer or Android 4.4 or newer and plugs directly into the 7 way connector on your vehicle; it's the easiest to install and use controller on the market.
