How To Install Top Rubber Strip Into Thule Wing Bars

Question:

I am having a hard time with the long rubber strips that go on the top of the Thule wing bars. No one shows a close up of how to get this on, I tried sliding it on but it gets stuck about 6 inches in, and Ive tried pressing it in from the top but it doesnt seem very secure. Am I missing something?

It can definitely be a pain to get the rubber strip installed on the Thule WingBar Evo like the 47" # TH711220 for your 2019 Kia Soul. The easiest way to get it complete is to lay the strip out the entire length of the crossbar and press the strip down from the top starting at the end. Once you get the end started it will be a lot easier to get the rest.
