Replacement Fan Motor And Blade For FanTastic Vent Fan 6000RBTA

Question:

Hi, i have a question about the poosibility of replacing the fan motor of our vent fan. We bought our rv recently and the fan worked. My wife switched it quickly from ininch to outinch and we think the motor seized up. the lid raisesmotorized and retracts, but fan will not power up. Since this fan does blow in or out, i wanted to make sure we purchase the correct kit. Anything you can do to help me choose the right one would be appreciated

The fan motor found in # FVK8017-00 is the right part to fix your problem, regardless of which direction the air is going, this is the motor you need. It also includes a new bow-tie bracket and blade, should you also need to replace those at some point as well. This part replaces the now obsolete part #4017-80 motor and blade which originally came with your 6000RBTA FanTastic Vent Fan.

While we do carry other motors, they are all designed to raise and lower the lid only, which you state is still working fine on your vent. Therefore the only part you should need is the # FVK8017-00
