Connecting Valterra Bladex Waste Valve to 3 Inch PVC Pipe

Question:
Looking at Valterra T40A - need an air tight gate valve that can be ed in an existing 3 PVC Sch40 pipe - not sure what HUB and Spigot references - Simply want to glue this into and existing 3 pvc pipe

The inside diameter of each side of the Valterra Bladex Waste Valve # T40A is 3 inches with the outside diameter being 3-1/2 inches. This is the same as your 3 inch PVC pipe. You wouldn't be able to connect the PVC pipe directly to the valve, but could with connectors that have an inner diameter of 3-1/2 inches.
