Adapter converts RV waste valve to connect to 3" threaded sewer pipe. The bayonet fitting rotates, making it easy to connect to the lug fitting on your RV's waste valve. And the 3" MPT threads onto the sewer pipe.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra rotating ridged RV sewer pipe adapter. This adapter connects an RV waste outlet to a 3 inch threaded connector. It's made from a durable black plastic construction. On this end is going to be the 3 inch threaded male end. On this end we're going to have the 4 hook bayonet style fitting. It does rotate for easy connecting.
It's a 4 hook design that will connect to standard 3 inch bayonet style hub. It's going to feature an internal seal to offer leak-proof performance. A really nice durable construction. The overall length of the unit measuring end-to-end, we're looking at about around 4 1/4 of an inch. If we measure from the lip right here to the top of the very first thread it's going to give us a measurement of about 2 3/8 of an inch long. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra rotating ridged RV sewer pipe adapter.

Excellent fitting connection to PVC pipe on our seasonal site.
As a manufacture home community with several older homes and occasional RV stopping by. Part are not always available for sewer septic hookups. Etrailer had several items I needed that worked perfect.
Product is well constructed, and performs better than expected to connect the holding tanks to 3" hard sewer discharge line.
Works well. Does not leak. Used for trailer on a seasonal lot.

Still working well
This is the best fitting to use when attaching 3” rigid pvc pipe to your rv waste line. This fitting screws into 3” female adapter at the beginning of your pvc run and the rotating bayonet end of this fitting allows you to easily attach to rv drain piping. Make sure you’re seated properly, twist the four locking ears onto the rv drain pipe and you’re set. No leaks. No problems. No other connection method that I’ve seen in use at our permanent site campground does it better. And as always...... nobody processes or gets an order to you better than etrailer. Win-Win.

Wouldn't it be great if internet retailers included the shipping in their prices so you could comparison shop without having to go through the process of getting to their shipping charges?
For recreational use I'm sure it stands up to time. That said, as a full time rv'er it didn't make the year mark. Even under 50% shade, the Texas heat/sun came out the winner. In all fairness, I don't think any brand would last. I ended up custom fitting a PVC line a few months later.

Of the 2 units I purchased, 1 has 2 of the locking tangs broken off and the other has 1 broken off. Not really impressed.
