Question:
I have a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country. I need to add a mobility lift to the back. Company says the lift weights between 60-90lbs. Wheel chair weights 250lbs. Which hitch do I need? Most seam to be maxing out at 400lbs but I dont understand the GTW witch is allot higher. I want to go with the best 2 inch receiver I can because I live on a gravel road thats bumpy so it will bounce some. I also need a wiring harness that I can plug into my lights for a flat 4 way. It just needs to run the license plate relocation light. What all do I need?

The best hitch for your 2008 Chrysler Town and Country for carrying a wheelchair carrier like you mentioned would be the etrailer # e98854 which has the best tongue weight capacity and has a mostly hidden appearance which looks the best and also helps with ground clearance. In the description it says max GTW with weight distribution is 5,000 lbs which is a system that distributes some tongue weight up to the front axle which increases the weight capacity.
For a custom trailer wiring harness that fits your vehicle the Tekonsha part # 118552 would be a really great option as well.
It would probably would be a great idea to use suspension enhancement as well to beef up your rear suspension when carrying the carrier like with the Air Lift air bag kit part # AL60814 that is a fit for your vehicle.
