will my wifes bike fit on the rack because it has no cross bar. it is a womans bike

In order to carry a women's bike with a step through frame on the Yakima RidgeBack Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting # Y02457 you'll need to use a bike frame adapter bar like the Yakima Tube Top Bake Adapter # Y02531. This bar attaches to the handlebar stem and the seat post to provide the cross bar needed to carry the bike level, and is a common accessory used with bike racks to carry women's and children's bikes.
