Question:

Hello, I just received my transmission cooler for a 2017 RAM 1500 tradesman 5.7, I purchased the Derale series 6000 I have been looking to find out if this series will be sufficient for towing a trailer that is 6000GVW I did see there were other series that cool better but I really did not see the purpose in overkill I really only want what will work and be good enough. Is the series 6000 good enough for my application? Thanks,

The Derale Series 6000 cooler part # D12906 would work on your 2017 Ram 1500. For a truck I wouldn't' recommend this as my first choice as it's a little on the smaller size and not the most efficient of designs. Instead I would have recommended something like the # D13503 which is much more efficient at cooling.
