Question:

1995 safari Sahara, Cummins 290 b , kwikee 27 series step motor is hot and clicking every few seconds. Sometimes works sometimes not. Pulled motor out but not sure if thats my issue or is it control board. I know I should upgrade but right now monies tight

Sounds like the motor has seen better days and in need of replacement. Since what you have is older you will actually need the Kwikee Step Motor Conversion kit # LC379145. This kit will upgrade your old style motor and control board to the new, more current style so that replacement parts are easier to find and the system will be up to date.
