Question:
Hello, I have a Pop Up Camper 2011 Forest River - Flagstaff Floor-plan: 625D and I am towing it with a 2004 Toyota Sienna with a towing package rated to 3500lb Pop Up Camper is at its heaviest around 3200lb. In the search for the proper WDH I came to look for a 6k and around 600TW hitch rating. However it seems like I am unable to attach any to my camper. That is due to a solid plate of steel welded to the top preventing from attaching any of the holders. The distance where the plate ends from the ball would be 34. Is there a WDH with such long bars? Am I to cut the plate so the bar holders could be mounted? Pretty lost here and hope you can help. Thank you much for your time and help in advance.

You are correct that the welded plate on your trailer frame will obstruct the installation of most weight distribution brackets. The best solution for your case is to use these Chain Hangers # RP58305. These bolt on to the side of your trailer frame to provide a mounting point for the weight distribution system, as opposed to the typical clamps that need to fit all the way around your trailer frame.
With these chain hangers, you can use a weight distribution system, such as the Reese # RP65509, which is rated for tongue weights from 200 lbs - 600 lbs. Then you can just attach the chains to the bolt-on chain hangers instead of the included clamps.
