Question:
Need 2 e-bike hitch rack for Honda CRV and RV trailer frame mounted 2 hitch on both. Have 2 Lectric XP 3.0 e-bikes 1 step over 1 step through. Will Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric bikes work with unusual frame on Lectrics?

Hey Andy welcome back! The Swagman E-Spec Pro Bike Rack item # S45SR will work with your 2 Lectric XP 3.0 e-bikes and is rated for use behind 5th wheel trailers and travel trailers. However, it's not the best option if you have a 5th wheel trailer.
You'll have to use two of the Swagman Bike Frame Adapter Bar item # S57FR to accommodate the step-thru/ step over style frames. The padded clamps on the E-Spec item # S45SR don't go down far enough to secure the frame. The adapter bar attaches to the handle bar seat posts to provide a connection point for the clamps on the E-Spec item # S45SR.
If you have a 5th wheel trailer, I highly recommend the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack item # HLY64FR. This bike rack uses padded clamps which will allow you to secure your bikes by the seat post or frame. They go down low enough that you won't have to use adapter bars. It has a 80 lbs per bike capacity and works with tires up to 5" wide.
I attached a couple of pictures below of the RV Rider Bike Rack item # HLY64FR being used with alternative frame bikes.
Both the Swagman E-Spec item # S45SR and the RV Rider Bike Rack item # HLY64FR are going to work with the 2" hitch on your Honda CRV.
What kind of trailer do you have?

We found the Swagman did NOT work well with our 2 step-through e-bikes due to the middle hooks being stacked meaning the hook on the bottom part of the center pole secures one bike but because the upper hook is stacked on top of the bottom hook it won’t go all the way down to secure the 2nd bike. We switched to the Hollywood rack. Waaayyy better
