Recommended Hitch Receiver For Jayco Travel Trailer And 4-Bike Rack Application

I have a 2017 Jay Flight SLX 267BHSW travel trailer and I would like to add a rear hitch receiver so I can use my 4-bike carrier, total weight will be around 150 lbs. I dont want to use a bumper mount. Can you suggest a hitch for me? Also what are your thoughts on welding vs. bolt-on options? Thanks

For your 2017 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 267BHSW travel trailer, I recommend the Ultra-Fab 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver for Trailer Frames # UF35-946403. This is a very nice weld on option adjustable from 47-1/8 to 77 inches. For a bolt on option, I recommend the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide # 13703. The Curt model recommends the use of stabilization strap # 18050. The weld on options are nice because they don't require any drilling into your frame, but the bolt on options are really nice for a do-it-yourself project. They are both really sturdy hitch receivers that will accomodate your 4-bike carrier.
You will want to make sure your 4-Bike Carrier is RV rated as mounting bikes to the back of a travel trailer is different than a vehicle application. They typically have less moving parts to reduce the possibility of additional sway. I've linked the page to our 4 bike rack options for you if you need something RV compatible.

I'd like to pull my boat with my 2017 Jayco flight trailer what hitch do you recommend
