Roof Weight Capacity of 2020 Honda Fit

Can 2 Kayaks be carried on the roof of a 2020 Honda Fit. I presently have no rails or rack but do have J style Thule Kayak holders that have previously carried 2 Kayaks on a 2010 Honda element.

Honda doesn't offer an official roof weight capacity for the 2020 Honda Fit even in their owner's manuals. They do not offer factory roof racks since they do not believe the Fit is designed to carry weight. They do say that the total load limit (passengers, cargo, hitch accessories, etc) is 850 lbs. With that being said, Thule and Yakima name a range of 110lbs to 125lbs respectively as the max roof capacity for the 2020 Honda Fit.
For a roof rack system, I recommend this Thule WingBar Evo system with parts:
2pcs- # TH711220

1pc- # TH145152
The Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711220 are aero-style crossbars designed to cut down on wind noise and drag. They have T-tracks to make it easier to mount accessories. They come in Black # TH711220 and Silver # TH711200. These bars attach to the Thule Evo Clamp Feet # TH710501. The final piece is the special Fit Kit # TH145152 which are custom fit clips and pads that are vehicle-specific.
While this roof rack system has a maximum capacity of 165 lbs, it's wiser to follow the lesser capacity which is that of your Honda Fit with about 110 lbs. Deduct the weight of the roof rack and the kayak carriers from that and you have weight allowance for your kayaks.
