I have a better option. The Curt # C11482 hitch is desined for the sedan model, but the Curt # C11483 is designed for your coupe. This hitch's tow capacity exceeds your G35's two capacity and it is well hidden. I have attached a picture of this hitch on a G35. This would be perfect for a small bike rack. cargo basket, or light weight trailer.

If you intend to tow you will need a trailer lights wiring harness. I recommend the Hopkins # 46255 harness which is also a confirmed fit for your G35. I have included an installation video for your review. I like that this system connects directly to your battery and isolates your vehicle from the trailer incase of any trailer wiring issues or shorts.
